Gerard Lee is the Emmy nominated writer of Top of the Lake S1 and S2 (with Jane Campion).

He has written nine feature-length screenplays, four of which have been produced — Sweetie (with Jane Campion), Breath (from Tim Winton’s novel) My Mistress and All Men are Liars which opened the Sydney Film Festival.

Two screenplays: Godfrey (with Wayne Blair) and Floundering (from a Romy Ash novel) are poised to go into production.

He is also the author of two novels and two collections of short stories.

The Big Galah, re-written from a six-part television script is his first scenario.
